2019 HIV & HBV Cure Forum

About: The 2019 HIV & HBV Cure Forum will focus specifically on the intersection between the scientific efforts in HBV and HIV cure research, and seeks to highlight the benefits of interdisciplinary research to accelerate the pace of discovery towards a cure for HIV and HBV.

5th International HIV/Viral Hepatitis Co-Infection Meeting

About: Under the theme, “Viral hepatitis elimination in Latin America and globally: How close are we?”, the meeting will include a focus on access to care for people living with HIV and other vulnerable populations with overlapping risks for both HIV and viral hepatitis, such as for people who inject drugs.

Men & HIV Forum

About: The Men and HIV Forum will convene key stakeholders representing diverse scientific, political and community interests to discuss opportunities for engaging men across the HIV care continuum to improve both HIV-related and broader health outcomes for men and boys.

TB/HIV 2019 symposium

About: Under the theme “A new era in TB prevention: Implications for people living with HIV”, the 2019 TB/HIV symposium will represent a unique opportunity to bring together a diversity of scientific, programmatic and community interests from both the HIV and TB fields to share current knowledge on science of latent TB infection, as well as present and future opportunities and challenges in HIV-associated TB prevention.
Organizers: The IAS HIV Co-Infections and Co-Morbidities Initiative, in collaboration with the Stop TB Partnership and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
5th HIV-Exposed Uninfected (HEU) Child and Adolescent Workshop
Date: 21 July 2019
Registration: Registration for this workshop is free and open to anyone wishing to attend on a first come, first serve basis.
About: The workshop will include sessions on the first 1,000 days for HEU children, with a focus on exposures in utero through to the postnatal environment, including through infant feeding, up to the age of two years. Panel discussions will explore how to partner for progress in ensuring that all children, including HEU children, survive and thrive.
