The IeDEA Strategic Data Working Group consists of representatives from each IeDEA region, program staff from NIH, as well as our external collaborators (eg. WHO, UNAIDS, PEPFAR, and other partner agencies). This working group will promote and guide multiregional research conducted by IeDEA Investigators in collaboration with our external partners.
Purpose
- To foster and support research collaborations between the IeDEA network and interested external collaborators.
- To identify and promote analyses that answer questions relevant to regional and global HIV policy.
- To establish and maintain a set of IeDEA Metrics for measuring and monitoring the HIV care continuum and global HIV treatment targets.
- To share the knowledge which IeDEA is uniquely able to gather on large populations who are HIV infected and/or exposed to ARVs with external collaborators.
