NIAID Conference: Statistical
Challenges and Opportunities in HIV/AIDS Research in the Era of
Getting-to-Zero HIV Infections

This workshop has taken place in the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott, Philadelphia on 23rd March 2019. IeDEA-EA co-PI Constantin Yiannoutsos participated in the Panel Discussion.

The workshop brought together statisticians and HIV/AIDS topic matter experts and was organized as a pre-conference workshop, to occur in affiliation with Eastern North America Region (ENAR) 2019 for which it is anticipated that many statisticians working in HIV-AIDS would be attending in order to build interest and attendance in this workshop.

IeDEA-related speaker abstracts and biographies:

“Nonparametric and semiparametric inference for the cascade of HIV care under incomplete death ascertainment” by Giorgos Bakoyannis, Ph.D.

“Errors in multiple variables in HIV cohort and electronic health record data: statistical challenges and opportunities” by Bryan Shepherd, Ph.D.
